After a year of operating this site, we’ve come to the unfortunate point where we can’t afford to continue. We’ve had a great time developing the site, figuring out how to process the data, creating the blog and promoting the site. We met a lot of people (online and even in person sometimes) that were helpful, encouraging, complimentary and enthusiastic about what we were doing. Thank-you to all of you!

The root of our problem is this: the expense of operating the site is consistently exceeding the revenue we generate. And that means that there has been no money at all flowing to Glen or Henry during the entire year gone by. Since neither of us have the assets to survive forever without at least some income, it is time to pursue other opportunities.

So, thank you- for your support, your comments, your ‘clicks’ and your participation in our experiment on finding good value for every grocery dollar. We hope you continue to search for and find great food sales out there every week. And who knows- perhaps we will meet again….
